Why is my listing held back?

Activate your founder profile to release your draft listing and take it live.

Updated

A listing you have submitted or paid for sits in a waiting state until your founder profile is complete. This is not a problem—once your profile is finished, the listing releases straight away.

Setting up your founder card

Your profile entry at /account/founder must contain these required fields:

  • A photograph and a one-line caption for the image
  • Your full name
  • Your job title or role
  • Your country of residence
  • A biography of at least 80 characters
  • At least one personal link (your own website or a personal social account; company pages do not count)

Optional fields include your city and a link to a founder story elsewhere.

What happens to your listing

Once your profile is catalogued as complete, your listing is released at once. If you have paid for a specific week and that week has not yet passed, your slot is held and your listing goes live then. If the week has already gone by, your listing goes live in the current week (with your paid position) or enters the free queue for the following week, and we notify you of the outcome.

Adding co-founders

You can invite co-founders via the Team section within /account/founder. Each co-founder's entry must be complete before they appear on the product listing itself.

Questions people ask

Why can't I make my listing go live yet?
Your founder card is not finished. Check /account/founder for any missing required fields: photo, name, role, country and biography.
Will my paid week stay reserved?
Yes, if the week you paid for has not started. Should the week have passed already, your listing uses the paid slot this week or goes into the free queue next week.
How do I add my co-founders to the listing?
Go to the Team section at /account/founder and send them invitations. They will appear on your product once each has a complete profile.
