About People & Profiles
This is the drawer for debuts where the person is the product, or at least the front door. Founder profiles, personal websites, portfolios and link pages all sit here, each filed on its own card with a short description, a category tag and a link to the live site.
Every listing has one main category, chosen at submission and included free. If someone's site could sit in two drawers, the main category should be the one that describes what visitors actually do there. A paid upgrade adds extra cross-references if a second or third drawer fits.
Browse the whole category or step into a subcategory using the filters. Cards appear newest first by default, so recent debuts surface at the top. Sort by community votes if you would rather see what readers have backed. Votes cannot be bought, so the order reflects genuine interest.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What belongs in People & Profiles?
- Products and sites whose main purpose is to present a person or their work: founder profiles, personal websites, portfolios and link pages. A tool for building those sites may fit better in another category, so choose by what the listing mainly is.
- How do I choose between a personal website and a portfolio?
- Pick portfolio if the site exists mainly to show finished work to prospective clients or employers. Pick personal website if it covers the person more broadly, such as writing, notes and background. If both apply, choose the main purpose and consider an extra category.
- How do I get listed here?
- Go to /submit, paste your website address and an AI drafts the profile from that site. You check and edit every field before anything goes live, and you choose People & Profiles or a subcategory as your main category, which is free.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest first by default, so fresh debuts appear at the top. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes. Votes can never be bought, and a listing's place in the order cannot be paid for.
- What should I compare when looking at these sites?
- Check how clearly the page says who the person is and what they do, whether the work or links are easy to find, and whether the site loads quickly on a phone. A clear next step, such as contact or follow, is also worth looking for.
