When can I get a refund on a paid entry?
Paid entries are not refundable once charged, except when we remove your listing. Your legal rights remain unaffected.
Updated
Your payment is final
Once you have paid for a listing or service on Debut Directory, the charge is complete and non-refundable. This applies to all purchases made through the site. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
If we remove your paid entry
The sole exception is if our team rejects or takes down your paid listing. When this happens:
- Your full payment is refunded automatically to your original payment method
- A credit note is issued for your records
- If you paid in cryptocurrency, we will ask you for a payout address before processing the refund
Disputed or reversed payments
If a payment is disputed or charged back through your card issuer or payment processor, all items bought with that order are removed from the catalogue while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in our favour, your listing can be restored. If it is resolved against us, the removal remains permanent.
For the full terms governing payments and refunds, see our terms of service. If you have questions about a specific charge or your statutory rights, contact us and we will assist you.
Questions people ask
- Can I ask for my money back after I've paid for a listing?
- No. Purchases cannot be refunded once paid. The only circumstance we refund in full is if we ourselves reject or remove your paid listing from the catalogue.
- What happens if I dispute a payment with my bank?
- While a dispute is open, your listing is taken down. If your bank rules in our favour, we restore it. If the dispute is upheld against us, the listing stays down.
- Do my consumer rights still apply?
- Yes. This refund policy does not override your statutory rights under consumer protection law.
