Displaying the badge on your website
Every listing may show the Debut Directory badge. Visit your listing's badge card to choose a design—you can pick the shape, light or dark variant, and size that suits your site. Copy the HTML code and paste it onto your website. The badge points back to your entry here.
Publishing a free listing
Free listings require the badge to go live. Our crawler scans your website automatically to verify the badge is present. Once found, your entry is published. We re-check every 7 days to confirm it remains there.
If the badge is removed, your listing returns to "waiting for badge" status and you will receive an email. Replace it on your site and the entry will publish again automatically.
Link authority and dofollow status
The badge link begins as nofollow by default. Our script evaluates your site's Domain Rating (Ahrefs) live against a threshold of 20, and runs spam checks. If your site meets both conditions, the link converts to dofollow. If not, it remains nofollow.
Paid launches receive a dofollow link on the listing page itself. Free listings always have nofollow.
Award badges
Badges for Launch of the Week, Featured, Launched and Verified status appear on your card automatically when you qualify. These require no action from you.
